Autobiography
Dr. Zhandos Tauanov, PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Master of Chemical Technology is currently working as an Acting Associate Professor and Postdoc at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Chungnam National University (South Korea, 2019-2020) and a senior research fellow at the Environmental Science and Technology Group (ESTg) of Nazarbayev University (2016-2019). Head of research grants funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of Kazakhstan. Tutor in Physical Sciences at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (SRSI program, KAUST, Saudi Arabia, 2021, 2022), winner of the Korean Research Scholarship (South Korea, 2019-2020), holder of the state scholarship for talented youth scholarship holders of Kazakhstan (2021-2022), Best Young Scientist of KazNU - 2022. Author of more than 20 scientific articles in leading journals and international publications. His h-index is 10 in Scopus, with a total of 326 citations.
